Having a vast range of experience within the geology and geotechnical engineering sectors both within Sydney and interstate, we are able to provide a wide range of services.
This service supports our clients in identifying the key geotechnical aspects of the project, providing preliminary advice and defining a recommended geotechnical scope of work for design purposes. This may involve a site walkover and/or desktop study using existing knowledge of project area, available topographic and geological information to provide a preliminary understanding of the likely subsurface profile and provide a scope of works investigation and laboratory testing, as required.
Providing preliminary or detailed geotechnical and hydrogeological investigation of the subject site to assess the subsurface conditions and provide a geotechnical report with site classification, earthworks/excavation, retention, footing, on-grade slab and hydrogeology recommendations for design and/or construction purposes. Precision Engineering Group endeavour to optimise, where possible, timing and budgetary aspects throughout the project cycle at the design stage.
Our geotechnical inspections and advice during construction service supports our clients throughout the construction stage in areas including shallow footings, piling, retaining walls, anchoring/bolting, soil and rock excavation, mobile plant and tower crane set-up, ground improvement, proof rolling and dilapidation.
Our NATA Registered sub-consultants can provide the following range of testing:
To meet regulatory authorities requirements and to provide stabilisation or remediation advice.
Analysis of existing slope stability, stabilisation design and groundwater seepage.
